It’s impossible to describe what a great choice Vitamark was for us without telling you about the bad choices we’ve made before. It’s a funny but sad truth that in MLM, our credentials are more likely our failures than our successes. Funny or not, here are ours!
We spent five long frustrating expensive years in a company with a pay plan so puny that we ended up with a remortgaged house, maxed out credit cards, a downline of just sixty people we couldn’t find, a residual income of $115 per month, and a major case of the What’s Wrong With Me’s! It was a combination of our lack of skill and a poor company.
We even traveled to Chicago to walk on fire with Tony Robbins. Our feet got warmer, but our check stayed the same size.
In desperation and ignorance, we joined another company that looked good, but turned out to be an illegal pyramid. We collected good money in the beginning, but lost big time later and had a lot of explaining to do to our friends and family.
We learned first hand the meaning of the word ‘Ponzi’ by joining a couple of those too. Fortunately, we got out in time and saved our friends.
Our crowning achievement was sending $10000 to an internet marketing mentorship program that taught us how to earn $21 split three ways!
We have had a record of successes in other areas of our lives, so we could not figure out what was going wrong here. Anna had done very well in two previous businesses, and was an excellent private investigator. Bob was a successful Physics teacher, musician and director. We figured that between us we had an IQ over 100, so it made no sense that we were failing so badly. We realized that we had to slow down and get educated.
Lucky for us, we had met Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter a few years earlier, followed him to every event we could, and had brought him to our other businesses as a skills trainer.
In 2005, Tom invited us to the MLM Cruise. Halfway through the week, he invited us to a Vitamark meeting! Anna’s first reaction was, ‘Hey! These are the happy people!’ We later learned several reasons why the Vitamark partners were the happiest on the ship, but the main one was that they were getting paid! (Our excellent products sure help too!)
Now that we have studied over 400 companies, we know with certainty that Vitamark is the best by far in all areas from management to products to support to compensation to training. With Vitamark, ‘People Helping People’ is no longer an empty phrase.
We’ve learned that if you are in the wrong vehicle, it doesn’t matter how well you drive.
Vitamark is the right vehicle. We’ve found a solid partnership in a family company that truly cares about us. Vitamark treats us with dignity and respect, and encourages cooperation among all partners, creating a community with a 100 year business plan. Support is everywhere ‘ upline, downline, crossline ‘ and corporate supplies us with topnotch tools for success.
That may explain why the retention rate in our downline is the best we’ve ever experienced. No one advances without the help of many others, and we are proud to be working with such a wonderful team of people.
The best advice we’ve received along the way is from Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter. Learn the skills and pass them on. Keep it simple, and keep it duplicatable.
Our advice to anyone joining us is to have fun and never give up. If you need help, keep asking until you find it. While learning the skills, keep working on your personal development. It will make all the difference in the world.
